Where can I find your nutritional information?

I have specific food allergies. What can I eat at Taco Bell?

Taco Bell recognizes that some customers may be sensitive to certain allergen groups. We have developed an Allergen Guide to advise which foods at Taco Bell may contain certain allergens to assist guests in making informed meal choices. Although we publish this guide, Taco Bell cannot guarantee that any food is 100% free of any allergen. Our restaurants are fast-paced environments and while our staff take great care and pride in food preparation, due to the nature of food preparation and restaurant operations, it is possible that some cross-mixing of ingredients can occur. The risk is low, however, we advise customers with extreme sensitivities to seek medical advice about the possibilities of cross-mixing.

Where is Taco Bell originally from?

Taco Bell originated in California and was founded by Glen Bell. He opened the first Taco Bell restaurant back in 1962 in Downey, California.
Fun fact: this was not Glen’s first venture into the fast food industry. In 1948, he had owned and operated a hamburger stand called Bell’s Hamburgers in California, on the border of San Bernardino and the city of Colton. Then, seeing an opportunity, Glen opened his first taco stand, Taco Tia, in 1954.
